Ewattch
Ewattch develops wireless connected sensors and software. For the moment the sensor TYNESS-ENERGY with Rogowski and pulse can be connected to Opinum directly from the Sources page.
Create Ewattch sources
To create a source, click on the + in the menu displayed on every page and click on Add source. The pop-up of Source creation appears.
You can open this pop-up also in the following pages:
- On the Sources page, click on the Actions menu and select "Add a new source*
- On the Sites page, select a Site, click on Site details, open the Sensors and sources tab and select "Add a source*.
Click on the Ewattch logo.
Click on the Next button. The dedicated pop-up of Ewattch source opens.
Identify your TYNESS-ENERGY
First of all, select the site on which your Smappee source should be added. Then enter your ID cloud to connect your TYNESS-ENERGY to Opinum. This information is available on your Ewattch device.
Configure Rogowski coil sensors
Select the configuration of your installation: single-phase meter(s) or three phase meter.
Single-phase meter(s)
Choose the granularity defined in your device, and then configure each of the three coils. You can disable a coil if needed.
For each coil a source will be created in Opinum. Choose the name of the source in the field name.
For each coil two variables will be created:
- A variable Electric Index to receive the index in milliampere
- A variable Electric Current to receive the current in milliampere
Two calculated variables will be created:
- Index: conversion of the Index in milliampere to milliwatt-hour
- Consumption: consumption of the coil in milliwatt-hour, difference between Index and Index -1
They can be disabled if needed.
According to the calculated variables enabled, the following variable will be set-up as variable by default. The variable by default can be modified later in the source pop-up.
- Consumption
- Index if Consumption is disabled
- Electric index if Index is disabled

Three-phase meter
Choose the granularity defined in your device, and then configure the coil. A source will be created for the coil. Choose the name of the source in the field name.
Six variables will be created:
- A variable Electric Index to receive the index in milliampere for each circuit
- A variable Electric Current to receive the current in milliampere for each circuit
Two calculated variables will be created:
- Index: sum of the tree index converted in milliwatt-hour
- Consumption: difference between Index and Index -1 in milliwatt-hour
They can be disabled if needed.
According to the calculated variables enabled, the following variable will be set-up as variable by default. The variable by default can be modified later in the source pop-up.
- Consumption
- Index if Consumption is disabled
- No default variable if Index is disabled

Configure Pulses
For each pulse input, a source will be created. You can disable a pulse if needed. Choose the name of the source in the field name.
A variable Pulse will be created to receive the number of pulses.
Two calculated variables will be created:
- Index: transforms the pulses in the unit chosen in the field unit.
- Consumption: difference between Index and Index -1
According to the calculated variables enabled, the following variable will be set-up as variable by default. The variable by default can be modified later in the source pop-up.
- Consumption
- Index if Consumption is disabled
- Pulse if Index is disabled
Connect your TYNESS-ENERGY to Opinum
At the bottom of the pop-up you will find the push URL. Enter this URL in your device to connect it to Opinum.
Click on the Save button. The sources are created and are displayed in the Sources page.

Warning
When an Ewattch source is created for the first time on the account, the system creates automatically a trigger which allows the data to be processed.
If, as a manager, you give at one of your user, the right to create sources but not to create triggers, and if this user is the first one to create an Ewattch source on the account, the trigger will not be created and the data won't be processed.
