This new release makes it possible to receive reports in customized formats, including CSV, and to export variables metadata.

Reports custom format

You can now define a completely customized report export format, in addition to Excel and PDF. Report outputs can be in CSV, JSON or XML. The templates must be created in our new interface, Data Hub 5.0 preview, and then can be used in your current or new reports in Data Hub current version. The reports page in Data Hub 5.0 preview is still being tested and will be available in the coming weeks.

Export Variables metadata

Variables metadata are now available in the reports. The metadata of each variable used in the report can be exported:

• Variable Id
• Variable name
• Source Id
• Variable Type
• IsDefault
• Unit
• Granularity
• Quantity Type
• MappingConfig
• Aggregation
• Tags

In Excel those metadata will be displayed in a new tab, like the other metadata.

Note

Know issue, the variables can be exported in Power BI. We will fix it in the coming weeks.
